Ready For Racing!

Took the car up to Bear Field in Ft. Wayne, IN this past weekend for a practice run before the season starts in Toledo this weekend. Things went great at practice and my average speed was 95 mph. I'll now head up to Toledo on Friday to test and race this Saturday if the weather holds out. Took care of a few small things on the car this week, including adding decals for my sponsors. I still have room for some more though!

If the weather is good I am planning on testing the new car April 16th at Bear Field in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. The first race planned is April 23rd at Toledo Speedway. Here is a pic of the car just after I put the engine in.

Check out this 1956 Studebaker Power Hawk my dad just purchased.  He used to own a 1957 and says this one is about identical.  If you see him driving it around this summer make sure to wave!
